Our company’s acrylic primer is a two-component, reaction-drying primer based on acrylic resin. Thanks to its aliphatic isocyanate hardener, it offers superior resistance to UV rays and high protection against chemical attack. These properties make it ideal for long-term protection of wood and metal surfaces requiring UV resistance in open spaces.
Acrylic primer saves time thanks to its fast-drying properties. It offers high corrosion resistance and excellent performance against impact, abrasion, and scratching. It is used safely in general industrial areas, machinery manufacturing, the protection of metal structures, the painting of steel construction, and the marine sector. It can also be used under topcoat systems to extend the life of the paint system and enhance the gloss of the topcoat.
Before application, the surface must be completely cleaned of oil, dirt, and rust residue. The prepared mixture should be used within 5-7 hours. Mixing ratio: 4 parts component A, 1 part component B, and diluted by adding 15-20% acrylic thinner. An area of 9-10 m²/liter can be covered in a single coat (30-50 µm film thickness).
Drying time at 23°C: Dust-free drying in 15 minutes, touch-dry in 60-70 minutes, and fully dry in 72 hours. The product can be stored for at least 1 year in its original packaging in a cool, dry environment away from direct sunlight. It should be protected from frost and the packaging should be tightly closed when not in use.
