Blitzsch Zinc Rich Epoxy Primer is a two-component, solvent-based protective primer system containing a high percentage of metallic zinc dust. It provides cathodic protection, actively protecting the surface against corrosion and ensuring long-lasting performance, especially on metal surfaces at high risk of rust.
It is widely used in heavy industry, shipbuilding, bridges, pipelines, tanks, structural steel, and vehicle-mounted equipment. Thanks to its high zinc content, it protects steel using the principle of cathodic protection, providing exceptional adhesion and protection to the surface.
It is fully compatible with topcoat epoxy, polyurethane or acrylic paints. It provides strong resistance to salt water, moisture and chemicals.
